Barstool Sports' mogul author, Dave Portnoy, as of late re-tweeted his 2017 video on Bitcoin, saying his view on the benefit has not changed. 

"For everyone attempting to get me in the Bitcoin game, I made this video in 2017," Portnoy said in a June 19, 2020 tweet. "I despite everything feel along these lines."

Dynamic via web-based networking media, Portnoy has made commotion since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic for his comedic stock day exchanging recordings, in which he insinuates his absence of market ability. 

In his 2017 video, Portnoy said he was a "Bitcoin financial specialist" that year, because of the promotion around the advantage at that point. The vast majority of the video incorporates Portnoy clarifying his disarray on the benefit, its biological system and its basic innovation. 

Portnoy stated: 

"I don't have a clue how to spend em. I don't have the foggiest idea how to get em. You gotta go to this think called Coinbase, which is the way ya purchase em and they keep shuttin down on the grounds that an excessive number of individuals are attempting to purchase Bitcoin. The entire thing is controlled by the Winklevoss twins." 

Portnoy then continued to call Bitcoin a trick, in spite of the fact that he said he needed association so as not to pass up all the increases bragged by everyone around him. 

"Alright I've chosen I like you despite the fact that I think you and your sibling are robots," Portnoy said in a June 20 tweet alluding to Tyler Winklevoss. 

Bitcoin has collected different remarks this year from standard characters, including Harry Potter creator, J.K. Rowling.
